It is with great sadness and shock that we, in ReActor’s, announce that our dear friend and colleague, Paddy O’Dwyer, passed away yesterday. His death was unexpected but mercifully peaceful. Paddy was a much treasured member of our agency for a number of years. A lovely actor, he was still sought-after and working, in the months leading up to his death. To those of you who knew Paddy and/or worked with him over the years, we would like to say thank you. Thank you for recognizing him as the talented and valued member of the profession that he was.
Paddy was a special person, who touched the lives of so many, many people through his stewardship of the Dublin Youth Theatre and in many other ways throughout his life. He will be sorely missed.
