Biography
Jemma has many years of experience on stage and screen.
Jemma plays the leading role of Gwen in the short film Soulmate Wanted, which had its world premiere at the Rhode Island Film Festival, and will be appearing at more festivals this year. Other recent film roles include the short Beef, and a voiceover role in the feature Suit Hung. Tied Tongue.
On screen, Jemma is best known for roles in Stitches, Moone Boy and comedy sketches with Newscheck and Waterford Whispers.
On stage, Jemma recently originated the role of Mary Flynn in Mattress Mick The Musical at Liberty Hall. She has also performed at the Peacock Theatre, Project Arts Centre and New Theatre.
Jemma is also an experienced voiceover artist, performing in radio shows Sketch and Killing Time, as well as recording for the HSÉ and EOS in Spain.
Jemma can also be seen in the current PrePayPower ad campaign.
Jemma is from Mullingar and is based in Dublin. She was a member of both Dublin Youth Theatre and National Youth Theatre, and has continued to train at Bow Street and Filmbase.
