A keen actress from an early age, Anna grew up in county Tipperary. She is now based in Dublin having graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a First Class Honours degree in Drama and Film in 2022. She is currently completing a national tour in the two hander show Bin It! In 2024, she performed in her self penned WIP play Nancy Blue as part of the Scene and Heard Festival 2024 and she is currently developing this play further.

In June of 2024 Anna completed Kino Guarimba, a filmmaking residency in Amantea, Italy furthering her writing, acting and directing skills. Anna also recently completed the Pavilion Theatre Artist Development Residency, developing her one woman play LISTS as part of the program. In September 2024, Anna was awarded Arts Council Agility funding for Theatre.

Recent theatre credits include performing in the Project Arts Centre in Pan Pan’s The Patient Gloria by Gina Moxley and a performance in the ensemble piece FLINCH which was staged as part of the Scene and Heard Festival 2023 in which Anna delivered the opening monologue. No stranger to the Smock Alley Theatre in which the annual festival is held, Anna maintained a role in Meelagoola’s ‘I Can’t be Farced’ in 2022.

Anna has been in multiple short films over the last year, most of which are still in post production. She took on a role in Liadán Roche’s short film Terratoma that screened at the BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival and GAZE International LGBT Film Festival Dublin.

Anna is drawn towards complex but ‘normal’ characters. Always finding the beauty in the mundane, she believes we are all walking contradictions and derives her joy from finding out just what makes a character tick. She is an avid swimmer and loves spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Anna is currently signed to MYVO for Voice Acting.
